It’s that time of year again, the time to locate and reserve a weekly summer vacation rental where the extended clan will gather for recreation and to catch up.
Every year finding and reserving a summmer beach vacation rental is a bit like an adventure hunt: Where should we stay? The Jersey shore? The Outerbanks of North Carolina? The eastern shore of Marland? What type of house should we rent? How much are we willing to spend to rent a house on the beach? On the beach or one block away with a beach view? Who will bring what?
You get the fun in all of this, of course. 
There are so many houses to choose from, and a lot goes into making the final choice, but I’d like to share one tip for finding the perfect beachhouse / beach house rental, an idea that has really delivered results.
The tip? Use Google’s map search, locate the address and then go into the satellite image of the location – moving in for a close-up and out for an idea of what’s in the neighborhood.
I’ll tell you that in the past 2 years taking this extra step, with all the extra data it provides, has made a real difference in finding and choosing the perfect weekly rental for our family’s summer vacation.
