Cutting the Personal Costs of Online Printable Coupons

by firstweekly

My wife and I are fans of getting a good value for our money, buying a quality product for a price that’s hard to beat. So, naturally, we’re always on the look-0ut for sales, store coupons and deals.

One way of assuring that we know about coupons and deals is to sign up to have them delivered to our email in-box.

Great, right?

Well, not always, especially when you have other important things to do with your time and coupons aren’t a matter of necessity but of utility.

So, after signing up for various coupon programs with stores I frequent, I found myself seeing the same or nearly the same printable coupon deals over and over again.

The solution? Unsubscribe?

No, I simply set my email filters to divert all coupon related emails to certain files and then, when I actually need to shop for something at the related store I take a moment to search the lastest email for offers related to my needs.

It’s not a big deal but it saves a few seconds every day of having to view headlines and delete the messages from my in-box.

Up next: Figuring out how to automatically have certain emails deleted by their arrival date in my coupon folders.

One small step for savings with coupons! :)
